O Antiphon Series: O Wisdom

During this last 8 days of advent, the Church's liturgical prayers take a shift in focus- from focusing mainly on the second coming of Christ, we now begin to reflect on His first coming and antipate the great feast of Christmas! One way that we do this is through the Great O Antiphons. These Antiphons are used for Evening Prayer and the Alleluia verses this week, and reflect on different titles of Christ found in the prophecies which He fulfills.
